Kostya: Back in 1998 Klaus was asking his readers to send him $5 if they like "Living on Love -- The Messenger" book. I loved the book and was very happy to mail him $5.
Later Klaus stopped to ask for money in this way. Some time probably in the year 2006 I proposed Klaus to put a PayPal "donation" button at his website so that readers would have a way to give him some money. Klaus didn't let me do it at that time.
In August 2007 John S. wrote to me about same thing:
Hello Kostya,
I have been reading and listening to the audio given to us by Klaus. I would like to personally thank him for the light and joy he has brought in my life. I would like to make a donation to him as a gesture of thanks for his kind work that he gave freely. I am familiar with computers and I know it would be very very easy for Klaus to set up a PAYPAL Donation button on his site so that people could thank him and encourage him. IT IS ABSOLUTELY FREE AND VERY EASY TO SETUP ! The money donated would go directly to Klaus's bank account. Please talk to Klaus about this - it would be my way and other people's to say - "Thank you Klaus for your recordings and books!" I would be most happy to provide help freely if Klaus does not know how to go about doing this :-)

1998 Klaus Joehle was proposing to email his first book "Living on Love
-- The Messenger" to everybody who wants, and asked in return for
$5 if
the reader loved the book. I got the book, really loved it and was very glad
to be able to express my gratitude with $5 bill in an envelope. Now
there are better ways of transferring money and PayPal button is one
of them. Actually, $5 is more, than the author usually gets from reader
who buys a book published by a commercial publisher.
