Klaus Joehle writes: It is my strong suggestion that you read a book called “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill written in 1960; yes it is about money but if you look and read it carefully you will see that the principals will apply to all things, Love, Peace, Money and so on. Put the principles of sending love together with Napoleon Hills principles together and you have an unstoppable winning combination. For the law of the universe is simple; if you can imagine it then so can it be, and if you are determined for what makes your heart sing then so it will be.

A book on Meditation: The Silva Mind Control Method by Jose Silva

I use Silva method to look up soccer results in the future. His 5-4-3-2-1 back count helps me to enter a meditation state quickly.

The book that changed my life

I read this book as a teenager. It got me started on a journey of self-discovery. I managed to heal myself of a bad health condition and I found myself rapidly attaining my goals. I attended the Silva Mind Control Seminar in the early 90s and it was great. I also attended the newer version, Silva UltraMind in 2001 and it was fantastic. The ESP demonstrations were mind blowing. I like this book, but this book explains the concepts behind the older Silva Mind Control seminar rather than providing you techniques on how to actually apply Silva Techniques. For this I would recommend the book "The Silva Mind Control Method for Getting Help from Your Other Side" by Jose Silva (unfortunately now out-of-print so you'll have to search through older book stores). I would also recommend the new course, "Jose Silva's Ultramind Esp System: Think Your Way to Success" by Ed, Jr. Bernd. This is the latest Silva System.

Book puts science into Luck

Fitzgerald talks to scores of scientists and researchers about what luck really is. The end result is that the book takes "luck" out of the realm of the vague and iffy and puts it in the realm of the specific and the achievable, showing you exactly how to increase your own "chance" of reaching higher levels of prosperity, love, health and happiness. Plus, it's a really fun read, with lots of involving stories.

Marriage of physics and metaphysics

This book is a fast, fun, and interesting read...I could not put it down. Fitzgerald took a subject close to my heart after 30 + years of personal experience and research and actually included information new to me! In a time when so many feel burdened with obligations in the world, I think this book gives people a great sense of hope and optimism about their lives.

"Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records - The Book of Life" by KEVIN J. TODESCHI

Very intriguing reading. Cayce claims that most of our character we take from our former lives. Also, the people that are close to us in this life were so in previous lives too.

I loved this book! It presents a fascinating account of how we constantly draw upon our soul's past in the present and how our actions in the present help pull together the substance of our futures. It should be must reading for anyone who wants to read about how life and reincarnation work together.

Meditation is an adventure, the greatest adventure the human mind can undertake. Meditation is just to be, not doing anything--no action, no thought, no emotion. You just are and it is a sheer delight. From where does this delight come when you are not doing anything? It comes from nowhere, or it comes from everywher. It is uncaused, because existence is made of the stuff called joy!

Meditation is not an Indian method; it is not simply a technique. You cannot learn it. It is a growth: a growth of your total living, outo f your total living. Meditation is not something that can be added to you as you are. It cannot be added to you; it can only come to you through a basic transformation, a mutation. It is a flowering, a growth. Growth is always from the total' it is not an addition. Just like love, it cannot be added to you.

Reader review: This book, written by the daughter of the famous teacher, B.K.S. Iyengar, is a nice enough reference book but would not be my first choice for a beginning North American yoga student. It contains brief, rather dry, descriptions of yoga philosophy (neither engaging for a novice nor sophisticated enough for a serious student of yoga). The book contains many useful black and white photos of yoga poses. There is a good section on yoga during pregnancy.

A book "The Fourth Way" by P. D. OUSPENSKY

I decided to place this book here because it is written by Ouspensky -- a student of real Spiritual Master Gurdjieff. Osho Rajneesh was telling his students: "Seek a living Teacher!" Same advice I gave to Roman from Brazil. What is a Teacher? Ouspensky shows you one person, another view you can get from Carlos Castaneda books.

The Fourth Way is the most comprehensive statement thus far published of the ideas taught by the late P.D. Ouspensky. Consisting of verbatim records of his oral teaching from 1921 to 1946, it gives a lucid explanation of the practical side of G. I.
